The Heritage
Rooted in the rich traditions of Moroccan craftsmanship, Zarib Caftan was born from the legendary atelier of Master Larbi. For decades, Larbi was a revered artisan in the heart of Morocco, designing and tailoring exquisite caftans for royal families, international dignitaries, and celebrated personalities.
His atelier was a sanctuary where natural silk met metallic gold, and every stitch carried the dignity of centuries. Today, that ancestral knowledge — passed down through generations — remains the beating heart of our couture house.
The Craft & Savoir-Faire
We preserve traditional Moroccan embroidery techniques passed from master to apprentice: intricate sfifa braids, maâlem hand-embroidery, delicate aqqad buttoning, and luminous zardozi needlework.
We source only the finest noble materials: pure natural Moroccan silk, rich cotton velvet, Italian crepe, and genuine gold threads. Each caftan requires over 120 hours of meticulous handwork by our dedicated artisans.
The International Vision
Zarib Caftan was established to honor the life’s work of Master Larbi and to elevate Moroccan caftan artistry to the world’s most prestigious fashion stages. We seamlessly marry ancestral heritage with modern, graceful silhouettes.
Our ambition is to stand proudly among the world’s greatest couture houses, presenting the Moroccan caftan as the pinnacle of dignity, modesty, and supreme elegance for women across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
